My Story
Mahmoud Mourra is actively contributes to the growth and development of Jeet Kune Do across Canada—supporting curriculum development, instructor certification, and community outreach initiatives.
Mahmoud emphasizes practicality, adaptability, and personal growth—core principles of Jeet Kune Do—and integrates them into both teaching and federation strategy.
As Vice President, he plays a key role in organizational governance, event coordination (including seminars and tournaments), and fostering partnerships with other martial arts bodies.
He is also involved in digital and promotional efforts, helping to modernize the federation's branding, communications, and online presence.
Mahmoud holds certifications in Jeet Kune Do and related disciplines, and continues to train uphold the highest standards of skill and integrity.
His vision is to make Jeet Kune Do more accessible, respected, and relevant to new generations of practitioners while honoring its foundational values.
Mahmoud Mourra is a father of five, a community activist, and the former President of the Alberta Muslim Social Association.
Born in Lebanon and living in Canada since 2000, Mahmoud has dedicated much of his life to community service, volunteer work, and building strong connections among different groups and cultures.
He is a proud SAIT graduate and a successful business owner, known for his leadership, resilience, and commitment to helping others. Mahmoud continues to focus on strengthening community values of family, faith, responsibility, and unity.
